| Chain Cutter TYPE KS |

The Root Cutter (Rotating Chain Scraper) is used to remove roots and fine roots, and minor deposits like lime or concrete sludge.
Use areas:
-
to remove deposits and roots inside tubes with sizes between DN 80 (3 1/4") and DN 200 (8")
-
use guide skids for pipe size DN 150 (6") and beyond
-
especially useful with bends at building tie-ins and to prepare rehabilitation procedures
Function:
- three drive nozzles at the rotor provide a rotating motion. The chains adapted to the pipe diameter ensure that the rotating chain scraper is centred inside the tube
- the precise abrasion effect of the chains and the 90° drive jet impact angle provides the excellent removal properties of this special nozzle
Use our Hydraulic Root Cutters for stronger roots or for pipe sizes of DN 100 (4") and above !

| Root Cutter Hydro-Power 100-250 TYPE HWA |

Thanks to the hydraulic motor, the hydraulic root cutter Typ 1-2 delivers high tool forces even with low pump output. The tools chuck can accept both the root cutter blades and chain receivers, but also tools for mechanical tube cleaning.
Use areas:
-
to remove thick roots and fine roots inside tubes of nominal sizes between DN 100 (4") and DN 250 (10")
-
to be combined with mechanical pipe cleaning tools
-
for use with low pump output as well
Function:
The special tools are driven by a hydraulic motor. This means constant torque, high efficiency, rugged and compact design. The maximum spinning motion output is 1.8 kW. Guide skids center the tools in tubes of larger sizes.

The tool is driven by a hydraulic motor as well as the HWS 1-2. Characteristics are high efficiency, constand torque, and rugged as well compact design. The output power is 2.1 kW. Rugged guide skids center the tools in pipes of divers sizes. |
